The concert, organised by Arts Deloraine, will be held at Gallery 9.
Meander Valley composer Bruce McNicol will start the day, presenting some of his works on the nine-foot Bosendorger piano.
Two Nocturns, and a Waltz Macabre, both released in 2004 will feature, along with Elegy from 2007.
McNicol will also world-premiere his recently completed Piano Sonata for the Left Hand.
“After a short break you will then be treated to a performance by the Tasmanian Harp and Violin duo Joanne Mitchelson and Hamish Pike,” McNicol said.
“Amongst other pieces they will play a Romanian Nocturne, a Spanish Habanera, an Irish slip jig, a piece by Hamish entitled Quamby Bluff and one by Joanne called Prayer for Peace and Healing.”
A new world music group will conclude the Sunday afternoon performance.
Rustica Romania features Joanne on Romanian pan flute, also known as the Nai, Hamish on violin, and McNicol on piano accordion.
“As the Romanians do, they will play a mixture of folk music with fascinating rhythms, classics such as Brahms Hungarian Dance No. 5, and The Lonely Shepherd, which was written by James Last for the Nai,” McNicol said.
“Joanne has been to Romania twice to learn how to play the Romanian flute ... it’s quite amazing. And, they use the pan flute to play all sorts of music on.”
It is the first time all three bands have performed in the same place.
The concert will be held on August 26, at 2pm.
Gallery 9 is located on West Barrack Street, at Deloraine, which is above the Alpaca Shoppe located across the road from the bridge.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for concessions or Arts Deloraine memebers. Tickets for people under 16 will be charged $10.
Tickets are available at the door, or can be pre-purchased from the Alpaca Shoppe.
