University of Tasmania Provost Professor Jane Long congratulated the students on the culmination of a great deal of hard work and study. It is expected that 336 graduands will attend the two ceremonies.
“We are immensely proud of our graduating students and we hope that as a university we have been able to support them to develop the skills and experiences that will enable them to live the kind of lives they aim for,” Professor Long said.
“Their studies have opened up new horizons of opportunities, and the chance to make a positive impact on whatever societies and communities they choose to be a part of.”
The two winter graduation ceremonies will be held at 11am and 2.30pm at the Albert Hall.
