Minor premiers Northern Hawks and crosstown rivals Cavaliers will clash at the Silverdome in the State League preliminary final on Saturday afternoon.
The opens final will start at 4.15pm with the winner to take on perennial champions Arrows in next weekend’s decider.
Hawks lost just its second match of the year to Arrows 73-64 in last weekend’s second semi at Ulverstone, while Dannie Carstens’ Cavs defeated Kingston 52-44 to advance.
Ruth Touhy’s Northern Hawks will head in favourites having already accounted for their foes on two occasions during the home and away season.
Cavaliers will also take part in the curtain raiser, the under-19s preliminary final against Kingston Blues at 2.30pm.
The victor will get the chance to play off for the championship against Cripps Waratah.
