Inveresk came alive on Saturday as the University of Tasmania held its annual open day.
A variety of activities were staged throughout the precinct, as well as at the Australian Maritime College at Newnham.
Highlights included a frisbee golf challenge, an AMC ship simulator, and a playing with parachute workshop.
Prospective students also had the opportunity to tour the engineering facilities, along with the School of Creative Arts.
Executive Director of Marketing Jason Purdie said open days were a showcase of the outstanding work of staff and students.
“Our open days are an opportunity for families and prospective students to get an understanding of what the university has to offer in terms of teaching, research and campus life,” he said.
“We are excited about the future of our campus in Inveresk and the impact it will have on the city of Launceston and the wider northern region.
“That is why we have centred most of our open day activities at Inveresk this year.”
