Break O’Day Council need about 100 people to help out before, during, and after the free concert.
Volunteers must be available on August 30 to attend an induction information session onsite, to familiarise themselves with staff, get information on their role, and receive a triple j volunteer t-shirt.
Positions available include pre-event duties such as poster distribution and handing out flyers; set up duties including setting up marquees and equipment, event signage, assisting vendors and event organisers, manual handling, and room set-up; during the concert doing bag checks, identifying hazards, rubbish collection, running water, bathroom supervision, crowd control, and merchandising; and, post-event duties such as packing down infrastructure, collecting rubbish and signs, and assisting organisers.
The council is unable to accept volunteers under the age of 16, and volunteers must have a Working with Vulnerable People accreditation.

Alongside the One Night Stand, triple j will also hold an evening of comedy called the One Night Stand Up on August 31.
The evening will include stand up sets from Becky Lucas, Michael Hing, Gen Fricker, and Craig Quartermaine.
Tickets went on sale on August 8, and have already sold out.
