The training session aims to help growers preserve orchard health and viability.
Orchardists will hear case studies of successful management initiatives and be guided through the process of developing plans for the coming season.
Tasmanian pest and disease experts and Michigan State University entomologist Christopher Adams will join Mr Williams for the workshop, which is supported by the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture.
The free workshop will be held at Campbell Town on Thursday, August 23, between 9am and 12.30pm.
