Leaving a bequest in your will is a great way to ensure your legacy and love for animals lives on well after you have passed away.
Bequests enable us to plan for the future, achieve more and ensure that animals in need will continue to receive the vital animal welfare services that RSPCA Tasmania provides.
Your bequest means a great deal to our organisation.
We have many ways that you can contribute in order to leave a lasting legacy for Tasmanian animals.
Funds go towards assisting those animals in our care, those in the greatest need. Donations and bequests support our Inspectorate services, enforcing the law while we help the animals they rescue.
Your contribution makes a genuine difference to the lives of our animals. Our Pet Legacy Program is a way to ensure your animal in cared for in the event of your death.
Anyone can sign up, and you will have peace of mind that your beloved pet will be well cared for in a new home.
We will be there for your cherished companion and will do everything we can to find them a suitable home as outlined in your will.
We also invite anyone to come and speak with us about the provisions you would like to leave for your pet.
We urge you to contact us if you would like to join this program.
Our elderly animal fund, Jack’s Gift, is a wonderful way to support aging animals in our care.
You can contribute to Jack’s Gift through a bequest and these funds will support those older animals with special needs and additional health requirements.
We also invite you to consider leaving a memorial donation in your will.
A memoriam donation is a legitimate form of giving, and a beautiful way to acknowledge the passing of a family member, colleague, friend or pet. Many people, for example, arrange a memoriam donation in lieu of giving flowers.
Donations received in memoriam by RSPCA Tasmania are acknowledged and receipted, with contributions over $2 being tax deductable.
If you would like more information about our memorial giving program, please get in touch or go to our website www.rspcatas.org.au
