The home of the Tasmanian Scallop Pie Company has been co-owned by Gwyneth Wilkinson for 11 years and is up for sale through Elders Real Estate.
It is located at 31 Church Street, Ross.
Ms Wilkinson said Ross was a beautiful town, but that she “just wants to go to Hobart and do fabulous things”.
“We’ve had the business for 11 years and we’ve gotten to retirement age and I think we’ve had enough,” she said.
“We bought it when it was rundown and we created the Tasmanian Scallop Pie Company, and now sell them across Australia, but I feel like we’ve done all that now.”
Ms Wilkinson said the listing provided a great opportunity for someone looking to buy into a successful, established business.
“Ross is a wonderful town and it’s a thriving business, she said.
“Ross is also a really busy town – in summer there can be eight buses a day coming through.”
