Launceston punk-rock band The Sleepyheads won the triple j Unearthed competition seeking a band to open up the St Helens concert.
The Sleepyheads have previously supported Tired Lion and Dune Rats, and have played festivals such as Falls and Party in the Paddock.

The Launceston four-piece will play on the same lineup as Vance Joy, Peking Duk, Tkay Maidza, Middle Kids and Alex the Astronaut.
The One Night Stand will take place on September 1 from 1pm at the St Helens Football Ground.
A live broadcast of the concert will take place from September 1 at 12pm, with highlights on ABC and iview from 9.30pm on September 2.
