The 102 to 39 triumph was the Hawks 13th of the season with the premiership favourites slowing down OHA’s attack.
The hosts hit the 80-goal mark with 12 minutes left on the clock as Ashlea Mawer and Danni Pickett again scored prolifically.
Ruth Tuohy’s charges led by seven goals at quarter time and had doubled their opponent’s score at the half as Gemma Poke and Danni O’Byrne backed up 100-gamer Kate von Stieglitz in defence.
In the third term, Hawks captain Ashton Whiley came on to centre while Steph Walker fed the ball with finesse and good touch into Mawer and Pickett to head into the final term with a 72-33 advantage.
Cavaliers play OHA on Sunday at 11.05am as the Hawk’s Northern Tasmanian rivals look to cement a position in the finals upcoming series.
