Sisters Lacey Maynard and Kahila Reed started The Show Club to present their passion for dance to a wider audience.
“We decided to do the show last year as there are not many people in Launceston, other than dance schools and dance competitions that do this kind of cabaret, burlesque style show,” Reed said.
The Friday night performance will be their second show at the Albert Hall.
“Audiences can expect incredible dancing, amazing singing and wonderful performances for everyone to enjoy and also the best comedy you can find,” Reed said.
Rehearsals for the performance began in January, with the cast meeting weekly to learn the choreography.
“The cast are amazing to be able to learn all they do outside of everyday life,” Reed said.
“Many people have families, work and studies but still continue to give all they can.”
The show will be hosted by Rick Marton.
Show-only tickets cost $55 and are available from www.launcestontickets.com.au.
Patrons must be over 18.
