Wet and windy conditions are expected to continue in Launceston on Wednesday with the Bureau of Meteorology issuing several warnings.

A minor flood warning is in place for the North Esk river near Corra Linn, as a result of overnight rainfall.
Rainfall totals of five to 10 millimetres were recorded across the North Esk catchment in the 24 hours to 9 am Tuesday, with up to 25 mm in elevated areas.
Eight to 15 mm of rainfall is predicted for Launceston on Wednesday, with a maximum of 13 degrees.
Earlier this week the bureau predicted a series of cold fronts would cross Tasmania over the coming days.
The cold and windy weather hit on Tuesday and another cold front is expected to cross the state on Wednesday, bringing with it a strong northwesterly airstream in the afternoon and evening.
Damaging northwesterly winds are expected to peak at 100 km/h across the north, west and east of Tasmania on Wednesday.
The winds will average between 60 to 70 km/h, with exposed coastal locations and elevated areas likely to see gusts in excess of 100 km/h.
Locations which may be affected include Devonport, Burnie, St Helens, Swansea, Strahan and Queenstown.
The State Emergency Service advises people should:
- Supervise children closely.
- Check that family and neighbours are aware of warnings.
- Manage pets and livestock.
- Secure outdoor items including furniture and play equipment.
- Be prepared in case of power outages and report any outages to TasNetworks on 132 004.
- Beware of damaged trees and power lines and take care when driving.
- Listen to the ABC radio or check www.ses.tas.gov.au for further advice.
- For emergency assistance contact the SES on 132500.
The windy conditions have caused road closures across the state.
Tasmania Police is reporting Henry Street in Launceston remains closed due to flooding and Tunbridge Teir Road at Interlaken is also closed.
Road restrictions are in place in the following northern areas;
- Highland Lakes Road at Blackburn Creek to the intersection to Liffey/Golden Valley (Riversdale Road) – 4WD ONLY
- Blessington Road – Open but proceed with caution due to light frost patches
- Highland Lakes Road – Open but proceed with caution due to light frost patches
- Mount Barrow Road – Open but proceed with caution due to light frost patches
- Poatina Road – Open but proceed with caution due to light frost patches
- Belvoir Road – Open but proceed with caution due to light frost patches
- Waratah Road – Open but proceed with caution due to light frost patches
- Lake Leake Road – Open but proceed with caution due to light frost patches
Motorists are advised to proceed in this area with caution.
