The Launceston Library is hosting school holiday activities each day of the holidays.
Monday’s activity had about 30 children creating rooster weather vanes from paper.
Launceston Library customer service officer Alice Imlach said it was a good time of year to learn about the weather.
“We wanted to teach them a bit about the wind, but also give them a fun experience in the library,” she said.
The school holiday program will continue on Tuesday, with an interactive experience by Seahorse World. Ms Imlach said the program at the library had been focused on STEM topics.
