The Ruscello Pinot Noir 2016 beat top wines from 12 countries to win the award, winery owner Monique Lubiana said.
“To win twice was incredible enough, but three times in a row is really amazing,” Ms Lubiana said.
“We are ecstatic to bring home the award for World’s Best Biodynamic Wine for the third year running from the International Wine Challenge.
“It’s a great thrill, and reflection of Tasmania’s pristine environment, and further proof that our state produces some of the world’s best wines,” she said.
Biodynamic wines are organic, but produced under even more stringent conditions.
Monique and Steve Lubiana – a fifth generation wine – maker established Stefano Lubiana winery at Granton 28 years ago.
