New chairwoman McIntyre independent MLC Tania Rattray, who took over when previous chairman Greg Hall retired, said the committee was organising further hearings.
The report will be finalised “as soon as possible considering members competing commitments”, Ms Rattray said.
This inquiry was established to investigate the operations and future of Tasmania’s irrigation scheme overseeing body.
Submissions included Tasmanian Irrigation, scheme committees and the Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association.
Tasmanian Irrigation manages 14 irrigation schemes, which supplies water to 831 users.
