The crash occurred on the West Tamar Highway, about three kilometers from Exeter.

Tasmania Police, Ambulance Tasmania and Tasmania Fire Service all attended the scene.
A white Toyota Rav 4 caught fire after the impact with a grey Toyota Yaris. The fire was quickly extinguished by Tasmania Fire Service firefighters.
The Yaris came to rest on the side of the road, near a small embankment after the incident.
The crash was first reported as series about 9.45am with both lanes of the highway blocked as a result.
Impacted traffic was diverted via Rookery Road and Winkleigh Road.
Both lanes of the highway were reopened about 10.30am.
