NAIDOC Week celebrations will be held on the banks of the Meander Valley River at Deloraine on July 11.
This year’s theme aims to celebrate female influences.
Festivities will start at 10.45am at the town’s cenotaph with a Welcome to Country, flag raising, fire sticks and smoking ceremonies to be held.
An Aboriginal Dance will also happen along the river trail.
A luncheon, exhibition and traditional art and craft making at Rotary Pavilion will also occur at 1pm.
