Seven women and 12 men graduated on Friday from the Police Academy at Rokeby.
They will take up their positions next week.
Of the 19 Constables who graduated, nine will be stationed at Hobart, eight at Launceston, one at Devonport and one at Burnie.
Commissioner of Police Darren Hine welcomed the 19 new constables at the graduation ceremony.
“They should all be very proud of what they have achieved,” Commissioner Hine said.
“We hope that they enjoy long and fulfilling careers dedicated to the Tasmanian community.
“The career of a police officer is rewarding and varied, and we wish our new graduates well as they forge their own paths within the service.”
The graduates started their 31 week training in November last year, which included 28 weeks at the Police Academy, one week of observation shifts and two weeks at various stations around the state.
Dux was Alice Herbert,26, of Hobart with Martin Wilson,35, of Townsville runner-up.
