The second Farmgate Festival will be held on the weekend of November 24 and 25, giving visitors the chance to take guided tours and see how food is produced in the Tamar Valley.
New farms include Waterton Hall Wines, Winter Brook Vineyard, Yimarra Farm, Tamar Valley Pastured Eggs and Lavendar House.
Mark Saunders from Yimarra Farm, said he was looking forward to sharing his operation, which includes alpacas, a farm shop, timber products and knitwear.
“We have a small herd of alpacas, which we breed for fleece. People can have a stroll around when they come for Farmgate,” Mr Saunders said.
Returning farms include Brady’s Lookout Cider, Tamar Valley Hazelnuts, Muddy Creek Apples, Langdale Farm, Bridgenorth Berries, Grey Sands Vineyard, Lentara Grove, Honey Tasmania and Village Olive Grove.
