A long supporter of beyondblue, the football club decided to inject some of its fundraising efforts into a grassroots organisation.
Player Joeby Sadler, coach Alex Russell and president Ian McCallum have presented a cheque for $4000 to Launceston’s Lifting the Lid on Mental Health group.

The donation will help Lifting the Lid reach a greater audience by delivering content to people at their workplaces and club rooms, director Rob Pearce said.
“LTL philosophy is to deliver information that teaches people rather than tells people about mental health,” he said.
“LTL is appreciative of the support of the St Pats Football Club; a club that shares a similar aim of LTL and has demonstrated their commitment to raising awareness of mental health issues in our community.”
Mr McCallum said the club will continue to support beyondblue.
“We thought it was just as important to channel some of our fundraising into a local group,” he said.
