The Launceston-based senator claimed the most in travel entitlements from January to March, according to figures released by the Independent Parliamentary Expenses Authority.
Parliamentarians are entitled to claim money for travel, cars, domestic and overseas travel, office administration and facilities costs, telecommunications, and travel for family members.
Senator Bushby claimed $23,598 in domestic airfares and travel expenses.
Labor Senator Lisa Singh was the second most expensive traveller, claiming $16,687 in expenses.
Greens Senator Nick McKim was the only Tasmanian member to go overseas, claiming a $1594 airfare for a trip to Papua New Guinea.
Tasmanian federal parliamentarians claimed $116,470 in domestic airfares over the period, $70,024 in travel expenses, and $7252 for family members to travel.
