The building, which is located on the corner of Charles and Cimitiere streets in Launceston, has housed the Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association for decades.
In the year the association celebrates its 70th anniversary, the board and members have decided it is time to sell up, president Wayne Johnston said.
“Board members recognise that the current building has significant emotional attachments for some members, however, whilst the building has served us well in the past, it is no longer suitable for the TFGA today,” Mr Johnston said.
Expressions of interest will be taken for TFGA House until June 28 and the building will be sold with vacant possession.
“Any sale will be subject to offers that are reflective of the market and obtaining ongoing office facilities for the TFGA,” Mr Johnston said.
