Pink Boots event at Saint Johns
Saint John will be celebrating women in the craft beer industry on Saturday, in conjunction with the Pink Boots Society.
As part of International Women’s Day in March, Tasmania brewers created the Autumn Adventure Ale which will be offered on tap on Saturday from 4pm.
All proceeds from the Pink Boots kegs will be donated to Pink Boots Australia, which empowers female beer professionals.
UK musician visits Tasmania
Entertainer Charlie Landsborough will perform at Country Club Tasmania on Sunday as part of his final tour of Australia.
Joined by his five-piece band, Landsborough is best known for his hit What Colour is the Wind, with music ranging from inspirational country ballads to anthems.
Doors will open at 2.15pm for a 3pm start, with tickets available from www.ticketmaster.com.au.
Drag night fundraiser
A drag night will be held at Club 54 on Saturday night.
All funds raised will be donated to mental health organisation Speak Up! stay ChatTY.
Best dressed, and a lip sync competition will be held.
The theme is Hollywood glamour, and glitter is “highly encouraged”.
Entry is $5 and starts at 9pm.
Weddings bells at Albert Hall

Weddings at the Albert is Northern Tasmania’s largest wedding expo and will be held from 11am until 3.30pm.
It features a large range of exhibitors and a fashion parade of gowns.
Step out in Launceston
The lives of an amateur tap class will be reimagined for the Launceston Players’ latest production Stepping Out, held at the Earl Arts Centre from May 23-31.
