Premiering at the Princess Theatre on May 30, 50 Shades of White takes on state, national and international issues through a mix of songs, sketches and dances.
As the title suggests, the state Opposition Leader is among the main characters in the show, along with the Premier. Director Nick Paine said Ms White even gave the performance her own tick of approval.
“She saw it in Hobart and liked it,” he said.
“There are a few jokes about David O’Byrne trying to steal her leadership and he also came along one night.
“Unfortunately, we never get any of the Liberals in the audience.”
This year marks the 71st year for the Revue, which is the one of the oldest in Australia.
The 2018 Uni Revue will play at the Princess Theatre from May 30 to June 2.
Tickets for the four shows are available through the Theatre North website.
Entry for adults is $39 while concession tickets are $34.
