The duck pond at Launceston’s City Park has been drained of water for routine maintenance.

City of Launceston general manager Michael Stretton said the fish from inside the pond had been temporarily relocated, and would be returned when works were complete.
“The ducks will likely fly off to other locations like we've seen on previous occasions, until we're out of their way again,” Mr Stretton said.
