A number of people have been taken to Launceston General Hospital following an earlier two car crash on the Bass Highway, near Hagley.
A police spokesman said the injuries were non-life threatening.
The highways is now clear in both directions.
EARLIER:
Police and emergency services are on the scene of a two car crash on the Bass Highway at Hagley, near the Hagley overpass.
The road is blocked at the Hagley Station Lane intersection with Bass Highway.
A police spokeswoman said paramedics are on the scene and that no serious injuries have been reported.
