Every year, the school’s parents and friends association spend countless hours preparing to raise funds for school supplies through its food tent.
On Thursday they sold more than 400 pork roast rolls, 250 egg and bacon rolls before 10am on Friday, and backed it up on Saturday.
“People were lined up out onto the road. We were flat out most of the day. Normally there would be a bit of a lull after lunch, but it just kept going,” volunteer Jess Rode said.
The association expected the days to get quieter, but said it had been “very similar”.
