She started a blog called Cath’s Village after she was diagnosed with the disease, as a resource for others living with MND.
On Thursday, a group of people came together for a fundraiser luncheon and auction at Peppers Seaport Hotel in Launceston to raise money for MND Tasmania.
Hosted by Jackson Volkswagen, in conjunction with Grain of the silos and Spicer Thoroughbreds, guests enjoyed Tasmanian food and wine, prepared by TV chef Massimo Mele.
Nicky Buckley, who is ambassador of the Ladies Racing syndicate, helped arrange the luncheon, and Jo Palmer was the MC.
