Police are hunting for a hoon rider who was driving dangerously near the Hobart Cenotaph on Wednesday, during Anzac Day services.

The motorcyclist was seen on the Tasman Bridge about 12.20pm and again on the Tasman Highway and South Arm Highway at Margate after 2pm.
The bike has been described as a black Triumph Speed Triple, which police believe was stolen and had a fake homemade number plate.

The rider was wearing a light grey waterproof style jacket, black pants, black and dark gold MX boots and a white helmet with red and silver colouring.
