Innovation and technology are also up for discussion during the three-day event next month at Devonport.
The conference between May 24 and 26 includes two biosecurity days, the awards dinner and a field day with visits to Turners Beach Berry Patch and Squibb apple orchards at Spreyton.
Guest speakers include Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile extension director Professor Juan Pablo Zoffoli, NSW Primary Industries research scientist Dr John Golding and US Agriculture department entomologist Dr Peter Follett.
