Fairsy’s 80s Night at Star Bar will give people the opportunity to relive the decade through a bevy of classic hits and colourful outfits on May 26.
“Those 80s tragics like me can dust off their wardrobes,” the evening’s MC Rob Fairs said.
The event is being held to help raise money for Whitelion’s Bail Out campaign.
The campaign sees people spend a few hours in a jail cell to help the community better empathise with disadvantaged youths.
“I hate having to live in a world where kids aren’t given a chance, simply because they haven’t had the opportunity,” Mr Fairs said.
All of the ticket sales, and a portion of drink and food sales, from the evening go toward Whitelion.
All money raised from the Bail Out campaign goes toward supporting the organisation’s youth mentoring programs.
Tickets for the event are available at launcestontickets.com.au for $15 or for $20 at the door.
