Sydney alternative rock band Front End Loader will headline its first Tasmanian tour after more than 20 years on stage.

The tour follows the release of the band’s new album Neutral Evil, which was released earlier in the month.
The ARIA award-winning band will perform at The Saloon Bar in Launceston on Saturday.
Front End Loader Tasmanian tour promoter Matthew Chalk said the band was excited to play in the Apple Isle.
Fans should expect to hear popular older tracks as well as songs off Neutral Evil, Chalk said.
“They’ll play everything.”
It is the band’s first full-length album since 2011.
“They are a tight and energetic live band,” Chalk said.
Front End Loader’s music would feature in bodyboarding and surfing videos in the 1990s, he said.
August Wolfbiter and The Prickly Grapes will perform as the support acts.
The band, which started in 1991, will also travel to Hobart and across the nation as part of the album tour.
Front End Loader won the Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album for Ritardando at the ARIA Music Awards in 2011.
