A huge program featured seven different classes all with a common theme that teams had six months to repair their machinery before the start of next season.
The headline race was the Tasmanian Title for Street Stocks.
Eight different winners in nine heats showed just how tough it would be to win the 30 lap feature.
Troy Russell proved to be too strong starting from sixth on the grid and working his way forward.
Pole sitter Corey Bauld led by two seconds as the cars encountered lapped traffic on lap 12. Behind him Ben Riley, Troy Russell and Steve Harvey were fighting for position.
Russell had a better run through the backmarkers and quickly challenged Bauld for the lead. With just over ten laps to go he hit the front and drove to a comfortable win ahead of Bauld and Harvey.
Sprintcars were won by Jock Goodyer from Nick Penno and rookie Tate Frost in third. All these young drivers showed the older, more experienced competition that they are serious contenders for next season.
The AMCA final was one of the best races witnessed for ages.
Rohan Blair took a strong win, remaining calm under intense pressure. He was chased hard for the 15 lap journey and the margin from first to fourth was 0.87 seconds.
Second went to Craig Bagorski ahead of Jake Briggs in third and Dennis Davidson in fourth. Rod Bassett ended up in the wall in the final corner after contact while challenging for a podium spot.
Junior Sedans saw Jakob Jetson win his final feature as a junior, taking his season tally to 15 feature wins to lead the tally on the Australian Speedway Sedans feature leaderboard.
Once again he was simply to good in traffic. Cody Gay and Jesse White had an intense battle for the minor places with White gaining the upper hand.
Stephanie Howard and Claire Coleman also had their own battle going on and would finish in that order for fourth and fifth after a great race-long scrap.
Wingless racing was marred by a massive crash for new driver Peta Wicks. Wicks was really putting in a strong performance before the crash in which she suffered a broken collar bone. Luke Redpath won the final.
Ash Cleary won the Late Model in a superb display of driving with a great battle between Shaun Kelly and Brad Smith to finish in that order for the minor places.
The Bombers had a tough night with two heats before the caravan race. The caravan race once again proved to be massive entertainment and Todd Bennett survived the carnage to take out the win.
