On Wednesday, a Dawn Service will be held at 6am at the Launceston Cenotaph on Paterson Street, Royal Park.
All are welcome, with a breakfast and lunch at the Launceston RSL Sub Branch.
From 9.45am, marchers will fall into formation at Princes Square to march through the streets of Launceston at 10.15am.
The Salute will take place at Paterson Street, opposite the Launceston Fire Station.
This year’s march also seeks to correct notions about the role of women in battle, with a new initiative called ‘By the Left’.
‘By the Left’ seeks to support Australian Defence Force Service Women who have been challenged for wearing their medals on the left – the traditional side for medals earned in service.

Medals and decorations worn by family members are expected to be worn on the right lapel, not the left.
The campaign seeks to correct assumptions made about women marching being family members, not serving members.
This year, ADF women will lead the Launceston Anzac Day March to the Cenotaph in recognition of their service.
