The Florance will open in the former Parkview Medical site opposite City park on Friday, April 27.
Each of the 12 rooms were used as consulting rooms in the past, however renovations saw them converted into contemporary hotel rooms.
Hotel co-owner Kate Murray said the Victorian property will provide tourists with a unique accommodation option.
“It’s a really beautiful Victorian building in a fantastic location and it’s been thoroughly renovated with a botanical theme,” she said.
“It’s really something different we don’t have in Launceston.”
Renovations for the hotel began in October, however the development was stalled by a robbery in January.
“We were robbed on January 1, which was a really big blow,” Ms Murray said.
“Everything we had there was taken.
“We had installed shower heads, taps and had some furniture at the time.”
The hotel will also be home to several Tasmanian artists, according to Ms Murray.
Local artists will feature in exhibitions that will swap two or three times a year.
“At the moment an exhibition by William Rhodes is being shown,” Ms Murray said.
The hotel includes a conservatory where it will serve a continental breakfast for guests.
While there is no restaurant at the hotel presently, Ms Murray said there was plans in the future to install a kitchen.
Rooms will be $160 as the introductory rate, before moving up to $180.
