A video uploaded to the Targa Tasmania Facebook page on Tuesday shows a Lamborghini Aventador SV making full use of a nearby paddock, as it comes away from a corner second best.
Fortunately, car and crew were fine.
It was one of about 300 vehicles that will cruise through Tasmania’s streets for the 27th Targa Tasmania.
The event will run from April 16 to 21, with drivers and their navigators travelling more than 2000 kilometres over almost 40 competitive stages.
