Men charged after taxi driver allegedly attacked with hammer and robbed at Rocherlea

Two men have been charged after a taxi driver was allegedly assaulted with a hammer and robbed at Rocherlea.

An 18-year-old Rocherlea man and a 21-year-old Mayfield man are expected to appear in an out-of-hours court on Tuesday night, charged with aggravated armed robbery and attempted aggravated armed robbery.

The men are accused of striking the driver with a hammer and stealing cash from him on Friday, April 13.
