The forum, which is held between April 17 and 19, enables 20 college students to explore careers in science, technology and engineering.
Participants will be involved in science workshops with the opportunity to meet university researchers and scientists.
Forum coordinator Dr Adele Wilson said the annual forum provided first-hand information about careers in the varied industries.
“It’s fantastic to have these keen students attending a forum where they can see some of the important scientific research happening right here in Tasmania,” Dr Wilson said.
The University of Tasmania’s College of Sciences and Engineering is hosting the forum.
