The event showcased three of the Olympic disciplines including men’s and women’s artistic and trampoline gymnastics and formed part of the final trial process for the Tasmanian team.
Ines Ait Mammar won the overall women’s gymnastics level 8 event and also picked up gold medal in the level 8 beam, while Sarah Glancy collected first for vault and uneven bars. In the women’s level 9 events, overall gold medallist Lily Hollaway dominated almost all apparatus except for uneven bars.
Launceston’s Ruby Lowe was triumphant over overall women’s junior winner Amber French in the individual trampoline, while Nathaniel Suidgeest (Launceston) was left uncontested for the men’s individual trampoline.
Men’s junior champion Matthew French won gold in both the individual trampoline and double-mini tramp, before pairing up with Eddy Rand to win a third gold in the synchronised event.
Other overall champions winners include: Tristan Raymond (youth men’s), Eleanor Higginbotham (overall women’s level 10), Damien Axelsen (men’s senior), Harry Driessen (men’s level 7) and Jaellem Loveless (level 7 under).
