Powerhouse Gallery has officially launched Activate, displaying an array of works by several committee members.
Gallery co-director Lisa de Boer said the committee aimed to encourage students to use the space as “it is a platform to learn and utilise new and existing skills”.
The exhibition was her first opportunity to curate a group exhibition, de Boer said.
“I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome of Activate, feeling it displays cohesiveness, synergy, connective energy with organic elements that resonate together as a whole.”
The exhibition closes on April 19.
The Powerhouse Gallery is located above Blue Cafe near the Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk.
