Organised through the Parks and Wildlife Service, in conjunction with Healthy Tasmania, a small, but determined group gathered at the Trevallyn Nature Recreation Reserve for a series of activities and challenges.
Parks and Wildlife discovery manager Emma Dale said it took a lot more than wet weather to disrupt the natural beauty of Launceston’s reserves.
“I think Saturday’s conditions were a good example of when people stay away from outdoor reserves, but there is still plenty to explore on days like this," she said.
“This is designed to get people engaged with parks, while also ensuring they take something away from it.”
