Bureau of Meteorology said Tasmanians can expect showers increase to rain on Saturday afternoon, with possible thunderstorms in the state’s North in the morning.
Strong and gusty north to northwesterly winds will shift to west to southwesterly in the afternoon.
Gusts of 100 km/h and constant wind speeds of 60 km/h are possible for Saturday in the north of the state.
Launceston is expected to reach a high of 16 degrees.
For Sunday, showers are predicted throughout the state, with fresh to strong and gusty westerly winds.
Snow is expected to fall above 700 metres in the state’s South in the morning.
Launceston is predicted to reach 15 degrees.
Monday will see showers, with fresh and gusty westerly winds and a temperature of 17 degrees.
Total rainfall across the three days is predicted at 30 millimetres across Northern Tasmania.
