A project manager for the multi-million Launceston City Deal is being sought by the Tasmanian Government.
The Office of the Coordinator General advertised the position on March 31, with an application deadline of April 13.
The fixed term role will play a critical role in managing the progress of City Deal, which is anticipated to boost the Northern Tasmanian economy and make Launceston a more vibrant and liveable city.
The one year position’s salary is between $89,714 and $101,591, although the deal is part of a five year plan ending in 2022.
The Launceston City Deal is part of a collaboration between the Federal Government, Tasmanian Government and City of Launceston.
It is Tasmania’s first City Deal and the second in Australia.
