A Launceston man who was missing for more than a week has been found.
Tasmania Police confirmed on Friday morning Rex William Johnson was “safe and well”.
“Thank you to everyone who made contact with police and provided information,” they said.
THURSDAY:
The search is on for a man who has been missing from Launceston for more than a week.
Rex William Johnson, also known as Rexie, was last seen on Wednesday March 14.
It is understood he could have been heading to Hobart when he disappeared.
Tasmania Police said there was concern for Mr Johnson’s welfare and called on the public for information on Thursday.
Mr Johnson is about 177 centimetres tall, of slim build, with brown curly hair and brown eyes.
