Originally from the UK, Dr Ian Hoyle has more than 25 years experience as a general practitioner in Tasmania.
Dr Hoyle said he looked forward to improving the health of the community.
“Skin cancer is a huge issue and burden for Australians,” Dr Hoyle said.
“I’ve already encountered multiple skin cancer cases in my first two weeks at Ochre Medical Centre Flinders Island.
“It’s extremely important for residents to have regular skin checks annually, especially if they notice dark blemishes or changes to the pigmentation in their skin.”
Dr Hoyle is available for appointments. To book, call 6359 2011 or visit www.ochrehealth.com.au.
