The funding, confirmed by the government’s Threatened Species Commissioner on Monday, will be used by the Mole Creek animal sanctuary to build new breeding facilities for the Eastern barred bandicoot and Eastern bettong.
Trowunna were awarded the funding through the Threatened Species Recovery Fund.
