The town’s main street was packed bumper to bumper as 550 cars pulled into Deloraine for the event.
Organised by Meander Valley’s own Van Diemans Street Rod Club, committee member Grant Evans said he was overwhelmed at how much support the event received.
“People are just blown away, they were just saying how great it is. We’ve got four bands, DJs – the atmosphere is just tremendous,” Mr Evans said.
“We put it on for the first time two years ago and thought we might pull 200 cars and a couple of thousand people and 430 cars turned up.
“We’re at our capacity now and we can’t really take any more streets up.
“So this is basically as big as it’s going to get.”
The event has started attracting interstate attention, with some car owners making their way across Bass Strait for the show.
