Launceston LINC’s acting information services coordinator Jordana Lory said Library Lovers Day was “integral” to cultural memories.

“They provide opportunities for life-long learning,” Ms Lory said.
“It’s nice to celebrate all the nice and wonderful treasures you can find in your library.”
The library held a special reading time for children to celebrate.
“We read stories about love and families,” she said.
The children also did some craft activities using love-heart shapes.
