Over a two-day schedule the gardening icon will deliver a number of talks and presentations at the Windsor Community Precinct, the Tamar Wetlands Centre, Punchbowl Reserve and Youngtown Regional Park.
He is visiting at the invitation of Tamar Natural Resource Management, ahead of his appearance at the Tamar Island Wetlands for World Wetlands Day on Saturday.
Included in Mr Georgiadis’ schedule will be a community picnic at the Windsor Community Garden on Thursday from 1pm.
Tamar NRM project manager Gil Basnett said it was a good chance to showcase some of the community projects within the region.
“Costa is really into land care, and people will have the opportunity to go up and speak to him,” he said.
