That is the thought process of Naomi Clarkson, the co-owner of Fox Friday brewery.
The Hobart brewers attended their first Launceston BeerFest on Saturday and said their pineapple chili pale ale had been selling well to some of the 7000-plus festival goers.
“We developed it specifically for the beer festivals, so they’re limited release kegs. We only do about three or four kegs per festival,” Mrs Clarkson said.
“We just tried to do something a little bit different for festivals. We know that people like to try different things.”
She said the festival had really great vibes.
Festival director James Harding said he was pleased with the event’s turn out.
“Despite the weather, it was a really good result,” he said. “We had lots of families and the roaming entertainers were a big hit.
“We are just so thankful for to the Launceston community for the support they have shown.”
